Works conceived on a Mahlerian scale exert a special power over us, with their individual components interlocked in a kind of cosmic scenario. His music takes us into worlds of nostalgic dreams, exultant climaxes, and visions of heaven, but also at times into realms of anguish and terror. Come find out what the Mahler experience is all about, and let yourself be swept away.

Mozart's 21 works for the stage range from delectable pieces he wrote at age 12 to great masterpieces like The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni and the Magic Flute. Using audio and video excerpts, we will delve into the
delights of the early works and the deep character portrayals in sound in the late works from this Shakespeare of music.

Nashville’s thriving and diverse music scene produced many hits in country, rock and roll, pop and rhythm and blues. Explore the careers of Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, the Everly Brothers, Johnny Cash, Brenda Lee, Patsy Cline and others. Listen to songs recorded in Nashville that have been covered by acts from elsewhere, including the Beatles and Rolling Stones.

look at the musicals of the 1960s with video clips showcasing the movies and performers.
